FAQs for Tech Support

Who can help me with technical issues?

We recommend using the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari browser. However, the Safari browser does not load some of the course modules properly. Typically, using the latest version of Chrome will fix most issues.

Note that you must allow pop-ups, cookies and cross-site tracking BEFORE beginning the course.  Blocking any of them will not allow the course to launch or properly track progress and completion. Please allow pop-ups when prompted by your browser upon launching the course.

To allow third-party cookies and cross-site tracking, please do the following BEFORE launching the training:

  1. Please check and “Allow third-party cookies” in browser setting.
  2. Please disable, UNCHECK, or turn off the following:
  • Chrome: Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data > turn off Send a “Do Not Track” request with your browsing traffic” option.
  • Firefox: Privacy & Security > Custom > under “Choose which trackers and scripts to block: Tracking content”
  • Safari: Privacy > uncheck “Prevent cross-site tracking” and “Block all cookies” option

If you have problems loading the module or receive error messages, please contact TrojanLearn Tech Support at trojanlearn@usc.edu AND include the following information in your message:

  • First and Last Name
  • USC Student ID Number
  • USC NetID/E-mail (if sending from a non-USC e-mail account, e.g. @gmail.com)
  • Screenshot of what you are seeing in MyUSC or TrojanLearn

Completed the course but still have a registration hold? 

Please login to TrojanLearn (trojanlearn.usc.edu) and check ‘My Transcript’ and complete the training(s) assigned.

If no training(s) found, please contact trojanlearn@usc.edu for assistance and include the following information:

  • First and Last Name
  • USC Student ID Number
  • USC NetID/E-mail (if sending from a non-USC e-mail account (e.g. @gmail.com)
  • Screenshot of what you are seeing in MyUSC

Note: Registration holds are released immediately following course completion, however, completion status in MyUSC may be delayed.  Please check your registration status in MyUSC within an hour after completing the course.

If you completed the course and still have a hold to register for classes, please send the following information to the Registrar One Stop Center at onestop@usc.edu:

  • First and Last Name
  • USC Student ID Number
  • Screenshot of the training completion confirmation message and/or passing test score.

All inquiries will be answered within 24-48 business hours.
