Standard formats provide a simple yet flexible foundation for print and digital communications. Shown above, the templates have been designed with a standard modular grid of both vertical columns and horizontal flow lines. You can use these divisions for aligning copy and images.
All publications should include the department name, program or service in the upper-left corner, set in National Medium (for information on how to obtain the correct fonts, see here). Position the USC primary monogram combination in the upper-right corner; the USC Student Affairs logotype should appear in the lower-right corner.
The formats serve as an organizational tool to simplify production and ensure clarity. Communication materials may include creative elements that do not adhere to the grid provided that the identity elements appear as prescribed.
Digital templates for letter-sized pages and standard tri-fold formats are available as Adobe InDesign®, Adobe Illustrator® and Microsoft Word® documents.
