There is certainly room for a department to express its unique brand while following the USC and Student Affairs graphic identity guidelines. To create a strong, recognizable brand, a department should consistently employ an eye-catching set of design elements – including color, typography and photography – across its publications, Websites, products and merchandise over an extended period of time.
