Residential Education
Faculty/Staff Mentor (FSM)
The Faculty/Staff Mentor (FSM) program enables faculty and administrators to play an important role in our residential colleges, residence halls, and apartments. FSMs act as mentors and programming partners for the Rresident Aadvisors. Their primary objective is to affiliate with student communities to promote academic values and foster the development of intellectual communities. This is accomplished through occasional meals, informal discussions, formal presentations, cultural outings and a variety of other activities.
