Judi Biggs Garbuio, Ph.D.
Judi Biggs Garbuio, associate dean of students and director of the USC Volunteer Center, has been affiliated with USC for more than 23 years in a variety of capacities that include: campus activities, judicial affairs, leadership programs and academic recognition programs. Currently, she supervises the USC Volunteer Center and the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund and serves on the Oversight Committee for Athletic Academic Affairs. Judi loves USC’s entrepreneurial spirit – if you want to try a new initiative that will benefit students and you are patient, it will happen.
Prior to arriving at USC, Judi worked at Arizona State University and Bowling Green State University. All three of her degrees revolve around education. She earned an undergraduate degree in elementary and special education from Emporia State University in Kansas, a master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and a doctoral degree in international/intercultural education from none other than USC. Judi has also been involved for over 25 years with the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
