Denzil J. Suite, associate vice president for student affairs, oversees a wide range of departments and programs directly involved in student life and leads the division as a whole in the vice president’s absence.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Ohio State University, a master’s degree in education from the University of Vermont and a doctoral degree in policy and organization from USC.
In addition to his work at USC, Denzil has held positions in student affairs at the University of California, Berkeley, California State University, Los Angeles and the University of California, Santa Cruz. At USC, he has also served as assistant dean for student affairs and chief judicial officer.
Denzil also teaches a course called “Intervention Strategies in Student Development” in the master’s program at USC’s Rossier School of Education. He most enjoys working with the talented students that are the hallmark of USC.
